I've been thinking about buying the Buddy Club battery and I was hoping for an actual review.

Did it come fully charged?

Was it easy to hook up?

Does it work with the factory battery tie down and cables?

It came charged, it was easy to install and has adapters to fit us spec battery cables since jdm cars negative terminal is smaller than the positive

I've had the battery for over a year, it works pretty good. It will drain if you have an alarm and let it sit for a wekk or more at a time without cranking it.

different strokes for different folks. If saving weight is important to your build, you might reconsider

Had an Optima Yellow Top. Lasted two months in a street car, in the summer. Bought the cheapest farm-store battery two years ago, and is working great in sub-freezing temps over the last two weeks.
