Default Brake question for swap. Please look.

Alright im in the middle of my swap, and my friend and I didnt have our engine host yet so we didnt go the engine route, we worked on brakes instead. Im swapping the S model brakes for the VTEC's. Question is should I swap the hubs as well. The VTECs are considerably larger.

Pic for reference.
VTEC hub:

S model hub:

Also, Its on stock shocks and lowering springs, but my question is would it be worth swapping the VTECs shocks. How difference spec wise are they?

A few more pics of the project.

Any comments are welcome.

you need the larger knuckles (not just the hubs) to fit 10" rotors and the corresponding ex/si/abs/integra calipers

im sure the shocks are the same

Ok, well then i'll swap them.

What about the shocks though. I've been told itd be a good idea to swap them, but alls I care about is are the S model and VTECs differnet? Im sure they are but im just asking.

Yeah, the vtec springs sit lower than the s/si, and I think they're a bit stiffer too. You'll also want the anti-roll bars from the vtec - they're larger. You might have to swap the rear control arms to do that.

And I've read that you'll want the vtec's mc if you swap the brakes.

Surprisingly, they are different part numbers, for vtec vs s
I doubt theyre that different, however...especially being used.
Just keep what you have on there, unless its blown.

Yes, I know I want the swap bars, and the MC.

One question, the car is already low with the stock shocks and springs. How much lower will it be with VTECs shocks do you think?

You do, therefore I recommended swapping LCA's.
