Tanabe SM questions
Okay so I did some searching around this joint for people who have Tanabe's. Read alot of good things.
I also read that there are like 50 million different versions of the Medallion line. Didn't find much in the way of details about them on here. So I emailed the company with some tech questions... You know, the pre-purchase investigation crap people do prior to buying something mildly expensive. Got no response from Tanabe.
So I called some local tune shops, know what response I got? "Sorry bro', not to many H23 preludes come in here"
So I guess the best thing would be to ask you cats.
Which super medallion is the right one for a prelude
Are the rumors that Modified Magazine set fourth true that they have a nice clean low tune that gets louder with RPM, minus that cleche` ricey raspy weed-whacker sound that most honda's are guilty of?
Because you know, those frickin' magazines will say anything when they have companies tucking rolled up Benjamin's in their g-strings.
Thanks

The Super Medallion Hyper and Super Medallion Racing are both for the Si.
Yes, what they say is true. The SMH sounds incredible. The SMR is a little more.. "GT" aka ricey.

Not the best price, but you get the idea.

I'm not too fond of the flared tip, but beggars can't be choosers, it the tune and performance are good, I can over look the aesthetics.
***edit
Actually the tip on that one wasn't too bad. I saw another one that got wider as it left the canister.
