Default spark plug wires

car: 1991 Integra LS SE

i was planing to paint my valve cover...so i attempted to take it off...
first thing i did was take off the wires...
1 came out fairly easy...but the other 3 were near stuck on...

i managed to get 3/4 wires out..but when i tried to take off the 4th, it slipped right out....but the spark plug wire tube was still inside...
the wire came off with the metal showing...and the plastic piece was still connected to the plug...

how do i take off the plastic tube part that goes onto the plug?

it seems to be stuck on...

Use needle nose pliers. Simple. Get new wires though. Those things sound pretty haggard.

Make sure your valve cover gasket is off before you put paint thinner on it.

theres that outside rim one and 4 circler ones around each plug hole (youll see when you take it off)

and get new ngk wire and spark plugs as well

spray some wd-40 down the tube, it will lube the boot. Then, get a coat hanger, and put a tight J bend on the end of it. Shove it between the plug and the boot, and pull it out. This happened to me on a caravan at work one time. I sprayed some wd-40 in there, and gave it a blast with my air blower and it came out, but I would assume that you dont have a compressor. hope that helps
