hello every1. im sure this question has come up before in these forums, but i couldn't find it using search. anyways here it goes. im trying to install an HID plug and play kit using my oem lights. where is the best place to mount the ballasts? (i.e. is there room underneath the headlights, or do you simply mount it in the engine bay)

if in the engine bay where is the best place to mount it, if someone has had experience doing this install any help would be greatly appreciated, as well if any1 has pictures of the ballast install that would be great

lastly, if there is space underneath the headlights, can you use double sided 3m tape to mount them?

double side tape them to the inner wells on the sides of your car.

 

remove the headlights and mount them on the metal beam that runs under them.

 

thanks for the help guys, decided just to mount them to the inner wells. Easy install all around took only about 15-20 minutes

 

so,, where did you put them?? im installing them too!!.. lol

 

on the inner wells same place where i put them. if u dont understad wat inner wells are then it is the sides of ur engine, theres space for ur ballast to be placed under. hope u can understand
