Default i need some gsr help

i just got a gsr swap installed in my 96 civic hatch back dx
well my question is the guy at the shop told me that he couldnt connect my o2 sensor because he needed a dc adapte harnes because my old o2 plug from the y7 was on top next to the header and now its down at the bottom next to the cat


so my question is is he just bullshiting me or can i just extend thewires my self and i already looked for the so called o2 adapter and culdnt find it

yes make sure you soder the wires and use black tape or yet better shrink tubing. easy fix.

And because I have seen this before, extend the wires in the harness, not on the sensor. It's almost impossible to get a good solder with the wires in the actual sensor.

ive been told to do it from the sensor because then if i mess up i can just buy a new o2 sensor

extend the wire. if the place where u got the swap done told u he couldn't do it, he is full of sh*******. don't go back

splice the wires on the harness side. solder is hard to get to stick to the sensor wires, if mess up un solder and redo it! its pretty simple to do, the wires are color coded.

if you don't want to risk cut and splice, I believe rywire sells a plug and play extender for pretty cheap
