valve tapping wtf

Default valve tapping wtf

i regauged my valve to factory spec on my d16y8. and the ***** is still ticking any i dea on how much tighter i can go without riskin a misfire? or any solutions?

Positive it's your valves that are tapping and not your injectors? I can hear my injectors from 30 paces with the hood open

also do you have a header? that will increase the sound if its an ebay one

Check the LMAs. Press down on the rocker arm underneath the VTEC lobe. If it sicks, thats why your valves are loud.

sorry i meant if it sticks. If it sticks, the LMAs are on their way out and should be replaced.
