im buying a 92 civic cx hatch with b16 swap,what should it run in the 1/4 mile?

im getting so sick and tired of these threads. jesus.... buy the car and go to the track! whats the point of asking what it "might" run?

doubt it.... every b16 eg hatch i've seen runs mid-low 15's, with a good driver.

my buddy just ran 14.5 with a b16 swap in a 95 teg rs on street tires/ only mods I/H/E

 

i ran 14.9 in a b16 92 4dr, full weight, IHE and a beer gut in 2001

still, bench racing is teh gay

 

14.9 here as well in an eg si hatch.

 

I ran 13.9 in a VX hatch, I/H/E on nittos. Ran a 14.6 in my DX hatch, full interior, stock airbox, exhaust, header, on street tires. My stock SIR ran 15.0 on street tires and bad o2 sensor.

 

So I hope the original poster is seeing a trend that all of the times are varying by a good deal... but all within a second and half of each other...

Short answer... it depends. Go get the car... go to the track and find out.

 

i knew the answers would very.i gave the owner of the car a few hundred dollers to hold the car tell i get my tax returns so ill have the car in a week or so.
