Anyone ever put rally lights/driving lights on?
i was wondering if anyone on the forum ever added driving lights to their civ, either where the foglights normally go or by fabbing some new mounts in the spot the pic shows (that was on a turbocharged ef AWD wagon, btw...
Anyway, if people have done this, what kind of word is involved in hooking these up?

i dint think its a big job. but it just looks horrible. considering that civic was AWD it probably was a competing rally car and needed the lights for night stages. by all means go ahead and do it if you like it,it shouldnt be a big job. but my personal preference is that i dont like the look of it.
IMO the more lights the better. Especially if, like myself, you enjoy driving at night. Better vision = less chance of smashing into something like a damn deer. I think they'd be best in the grill itself though.
Lol, i love it frist go out and buy that cheap evo style bumper that comes with fog light openings, so u already have spots to put them, saves the times in finding a place to put them...

haha, i'ma say thumbs down to the evo bumper. Yeah, i have driven in cars with a set of rally lights and its simply incredible on a lonely road at night. I didn't know if they be effective in the fog light spot as opposed to in front of the hood, does anyone have experience with these thigns?

Yeah, I've seen 'em on a few rally cars (non pro) people were building out of the shop I worked at.
They're nice, bright as hell. Some people go all out w/ ones that go towards both sides too so you can see really good as you're going into a bend.
Anyways, just might want to keep an eye on the legality of it pertaining to the state you live in.
I'm sure in CA they can give you a hassle about that **** - I'm sure they can here too in NY.
The true rally cars I saw at the shop weren't road legal so it was irrelevant
