friend has a itr header fs. i have a 98gsr. how much better is the stock itr header then my stock gsr header? is it worth gettin n how much is it worth in good condition?

 

if its a usdm itr header then id say i dont think its worth it in my opinion, i believe the collector is only 2" and is a 4-2-1 design. if its a jdm itr header then yea its better ause its got a 2.5" collector and is a 4-1 design so it sbetter for more top end power.

silentdeath12886 just gave u the answer. I sold my JDM ITR 4-1 header for $160, it had a 2.5" collector

 

this is a usdm header but its 4-1 he said its not a 2.5 collector i asked him wat it his n im waitin to hear back so im asuming its 2.25.. if its a 4-1usdm header with a 2.25 collector is that better then my stock gsr header? worth 100$\

 

There is no such thing as an OEM 4-1 USDM ITR header.

 

so if its 4-1 then it has to be jdm itr

 

If you have a 98 GSR, then a ITR header will not be a direct bolt on, The ITR header will be too long...

ITR will bolt up to ANY 94-01 tegs except 94-99GSR's


UNless you can get his whole exhaust - Then your good to go

 

the stock usdm itr manifold is a cast iron piece just like the regular tegs have that flows slightly better. the jdm 98+ itr's had the 4-1 tubular header with 2.5'' collector.
