Default I wanna build a nitrous motor .....need help

like the title says . I need help with this like whats the best cams and comp cuz i got a b18a sleeved to 84mm with 8:5:1 that I got for a good price but is that comp good for a nitrous motor or should i go higher I got a ctr tranny for this .......let me know what yall think or some stuff i should do or get ..............help me out thanxs

8.5 is low for anything. If you are building a true nitrous motor I would tear it down and start from scratch. Best of luck.

why short change yourself on the comp?
bump that sucka up....
if you wanna stay on a lower side 10:5
but me 11:5 comp with 150 direct port and hold the FUUCK ON

not my personal set up, but thats what i have layed out for a NOS motor if i never get around ot it..

NOS isnt like boost..... nitrous wants compression.. themore you have the better...
with proper fuel that is.

i would go 84.5 13:1 arias with the bigger rist pins and then squeeze 150 or more and then you will really need to hold on

Nitrous likes high compression. Basically, just build the best NA motor you can, then spray on it. I have found with domestic motors that coating the pistons seems to help with durablity when you spray.

so what piston and what comp would be good for this i would like this to be on pump gas.what cams skunk2 pro2?...........does anyone has pics of there nitrous monster or vidz ....................13:1 + 150 wet= new underwear............lol

search user cubish..he had a direct port setup that went 10.69 full interior...that DP is now on my car waiting to be tuned

hey guys I found some piston from erick racing there 84mm itr piston are these thing good for my build or go for je or like wiseco I'll try to post a pic of the piston

I have a buddy who has a 84mm sleeved Ls block 12.5-1 comp, port and polish head, skunk2 cams, twm ITBs direct port 150 sh0t tuned on hondata, Lets just say it moves!!. Hes gunna take off the ITBs for a jackson racing super charger+ nitrious! Ive been debating if im gunna do a nitrious or boost motor when I find another hatch, but my friends motor is really making me want NOSSSS! haha be sure to get a good tune

For a street/ strip car
I would opt for some 11 - 11 1/2 comp Forged pistons of your choice.
Maybe some sk2 Pro1 cams.
When you get up into a big nitrous hit it's nice to run a 2 stage system.
A 160 hit makes first and second gear worthless used all at the same time.
