Del Sol = squeaking door?
Yea, so I've had my del sol for about a year.. The roof squeaks a bit and it doesn't bother me.
I went to visit a friend that lives down a bumpy dirt road and ended up letting him take my car up to the grocery store to get some food to grill because he asked. He has been a civic owner for years so I figured he would take the roads very slow and respectfully.
Wellllllll, when I left that night I noticed my door was making the same squeaky noise as my roof, I thought it might be my imagination and hoped it would go away.. But today it still exists and is driving me crazy..
It's easy to ignore the roof because I know it's an simple fix.. but how the f$*# do you fix a squeaking door? IS IT POSSIBLE? Should I sell my soL in favor of a EG hatch?

Just one of the thing of owning a delsol. Interior noise sucks, deal with it. Goes the same with alot of other convertibles.
To answer your question tho, if your door squeaks the part that needs lube (if your sitting in the driver's seat, it's the rubber gasket that runs down into the door jam over your left shoulder) That and on the door itself on the opening side where rubber meets the window it gets pretty bad.
But yeah, Sillicon Lube, a small spray can will go a long ways. I find i need to re-apply everytime i wash (2 weeks), and i keep the can in my car just in case.

You DO NOT want to use anything petroleum based, it'll eat through the seals, and those seals are hella expensive.</TD></TR></TABLE>
