6th gen is red headed step child
What the F**k is the issue?! I love my 6th gen but it seems everywhere I look its like aftermarket parts makers arnt taking it seriously, hondata doesnt even support the f23 motor, forums have little content(including h-tech, [no disrespect])and even my friends tell me im wasting my time and money on it. so honestly Is this the generation that should have never been, is it only good as a shell for a different motor? Is the f23 just the whole F-series on its death bed or is it a single cam underdog?

Almost everything if its a F22B1

no its just the single cam thats limiting the potential. A few people have done a H-series head swap onto the F23, its called the G23

As time goes on, more and more aftermarket support is becoming available for the CGs. Look at the 7th gen Accords right now. There aren't a ton of aftermarket parts out there yet because the cars are new and typically aren't in the price rance for the typical tuner. In five years there will be more tuners and support for the 7th gen, and in ten years there will be more yet. As the cars age and more tuners get on board with the platform, you'll see more content on the forums. Again, there's still more info about 6th gens than 7th gens on here.
Hondata doesn't support any obd2 cars. To utilize most tuning softwares you need to convert an obd2 car to obd1 regarless of if it's a Teggy or an Accord. AEM ems is available for 6th gens
I can't think of a ton of parts that aren't readily available for 6th gens and f23s. Bolt on parts are easy to find. Pistons, rods, camshafts (although regrinds) and suspension parts can be found on Google in less than a minute.

The F23 has enough support to do nearly anything you want to the motor. The only thing I had problems looking for was the valve train. Portflow had to measure everything but all the parts came from ferrea.

45 hp and 10 lb of torque for 3 grand?
a junk yard turbo can beat the living crap out of h22 swapped 6th gen with 2/3 of the total price
there's not much internal stuff for f23 because it's a more of a family car than full out race car. sorry to burst bubble but that's what i realize before i turbo'ed mine.
sorry it will take more radical steps to make a decently moving 6th gen than just bolt on and mild head works

I'm having some issues right now with the AEM EMS, but other than that my F23 is nearly maxed out. You can check on my progress here.... http://www.everything-honda.co...=3679 .
