Default My ECU taking a dive on me?

Prepare for some longwindedness. This one is a first for me.

car/motor: 91 crx hf with a d16z6

current known issues: ecu codes 1, 6, 7. (o2, water temp, tps)

<U>PROBLEM:</U>
Today when i was leaving the mall, i noticed my rpms were slighty fluctuating (from 1100 to 500) but it was very gently. wasnt like a bad iacv. did when i idles. like the car wanted to die on me, but didnt. When the rpm's fluctuated they would end up sitting low and the car ran rough at stops (louder, shook more, etc). Also when excelerating it bogged some (like i had shifted wrong) And all this time <U>my check engine light was off, for the first time ever, it wasnt givng any codes but was running worse than it had when the check engine waso n</U> .

I wondered if a miracle happenedto get rid of my 3 codes (yea right, dreaming there) but a difgf problem arose. Dont think so. So what i did is had my gf next to me rach under and grab a ground wire from my ecu i have behind the glove box for easy code checking. I had her gorund it to see if my codes displayed. (keep in mind im still driving home) after explaining to her how to do it it flashed wiered, stayed on, off, blah blah but then it flashed codes 1, 6, 7. Once it did that and i had my gf stop grounding the wire, my check engine light stayed on, and my car started running normal. normal idle, no bog, etc.

got home, turned car off then right back on. the check engine light stayed off and my idle toyed with me and was getting low like earlier.

My ecu for one thing is chopped up and beat up (from previopus owner) because it was chiped for boost, but never had the cover put back. Also a buddy of mine a few weeks ago fried my ecu main circuit by accidentally touching an exposed wire coming from the ecu and contacting the metal protection plate causing a crackling spark and fried circuit. easily replaced but scary.

please help. i gotta findo ut whats going on before this might ruin my car. Need it cause i have no other transportation lol.

the day i get rid of all my ecu/code troubles is the day ill probably wreck my car

edit: the ecu is covered and everything. it wasnt beforew i owned it though lol. its been covered for the past 3-4 months.
