Default Ebay $700-1000 turbo kits.

Ok guys I know you get what you pay for but bare with me. This turbo kit comes with a cast iron manifold and pretty much everything else for $700. I know I would need 310cc injectors and a new fuel pump. Is it good enough for a DD car that could run in the 13s safely? I have a 1990 DX with an obd0 b16a in it and it is a strong engine with good compression across all cylinders. I would also be putting in a Cometic head gasket and ARP head studs. Please turbo dudes, tell me what you think. http://cgi.ebay.ca/JDM-SPORTs-...wItem

These guys don't know what they are selling. Is it a B or a D series kit????
the manifold is OK, the turbo is chinese made will last a few months. The blow off valve is worthless and the wastegate is so-so. I have installed these ebay turbo kits on cars before and pretty much nothing fits like they say. The wastegate hits the hood, the oil lines are too long or too short. The down pipe hits the oil pan or doesn't clear the cross memeber. It's an OK kit if you have a welder and have mechanical skills, it is not a bolt on and drive away type of kit.

So spend another $800 and get a better name brand kit? I know that is what I should do, I just wanted to see peoples opinions on these kits, if they have had experience with them.

the ebay turbo has been covered plenty of times a liltle search will get you your answers. but many have had success with ebay kits as many have not. its hit or miss 50/50. in my opinion i would do ssac xspower before any other ebay turbo. just cause many have had good success with them.
