f22a non vtec swap question

Default f22a non vtec swap question

hi, i swapped a sohc f22a into my 1995accord, it used to have f20 sohc non vtec. its runs nice but the ecu i have doesnt have a code or the sticker is gone, what is the code for my ecu?! and will it run better if i used a vtec d15b p08 ecu?!

You swapped a vtec F22a? Is it an F22a1? If so its not vtec. Don't use the D15b ecu, will not run it right at all. Also if you are using the stock ecu that was in the car, it wouldn't control vtec anyway.

its not a vtec engine, i said non vtec, i'm running the car on the old f20 ecu

You can use the ecu the car came with. Both motors are OBD1 so you won't have any problems. I am about to swap a broke f22a1 for a F20a and it will drop right in.
