yeah noob question, the steering wheel on my eg wont unlock so i can turn the key. i cant figure it out. i know the temp has been below 30degrees for weeks but i dont think theres any moisture to make it freeze. ive tried turning the wheel while trying to turn the key to no avail. what else can i try? id like to push this thing into my garage

He tried that man. To OP, keep trying. You can do it ::Rob Schneider voice::

Also try backing the key out ever so slightly. I noticed on my older CRX that the key doesn't work right when it's all the way in. The key is probably getting worn. If this is the case, perhaps getting a fresh computer cut key from Honda by bringing in your car title will solve that (not free obviously)...

I mean jerk as in jerk the **** out of it. Shake the wheel like Ike shook Tina.

yeah ive tried putting a breaker bar between the steering wheel hub and turning it, so im definately jerking the hell out of it. it all worked fine, then i didnt touch it for like maybe a week and a half now this. the car has no motor or eletrical power either right now
on my 87 legend when the wheels were turned all the way and then locked, the wheel would take some hard jingles to get it loose lol... what year is the car? i'm pretty sure you can do it... u cant use a breaker bar... this might sound gay... but i think he meant jerk it hard back and forth.. not just trying to force it one way.
lol sig material

The wheel's g2 be in a certain position for the key to turn too.
Just move it back and forth while ur trying to turn it and it'll turn.
G2 be forceful with it
. It's a Honda thing
.
Be happy it didn't happen while u were driving - it happened to me while I was driving my Ford Probe ~60mph around a curve (still doing < speed limit) - Holy ****. That proved to be an interesting 15 seconds or so.
