Do the ITR have some type of strut bar within the spare tire well? If yes, anybody got pics?

Did they come stock or aftermarket? would you find them in JDM or USDM Type R, thats if they exsist?

is that the "door guard" stripping that you put around the cut for the strut bar? that looks really good...it finished it up nicely.

 

The Mugen bar comes with the rubber stripping.

well ****, i had better start replacing all of my crappy USDM rubber with its JDM counterpart. i could definately use the horsepower...

 

You have to remember that it's lighter too. Just like ITR windshields.

actually, in all seriousness, i know that benen makes a support bar that fits into the spare tire well.

 

Did you cut the panels out yourself? If the Mugen strut bar come with templates, is there anyway I can use them?

 

So there is two, a trunk bar and another bar that fits in the spare tire well...

THe one that is stock is the trunk bar? and there is no bar that came stock in the spare tire?

 

neither of those rear bars came stock. an OEM rear strut bar is available, but that's not the one pictured.

 

does anyone have a pic of a mugen FRONT upper strut bar mounted? I might have to swap out my oem bar..
