hey i was wondering if anyone knew how to connect a push button start my friend has one in his car but he has a integra so i dont know what wires to connect can someone help me out.

I would imagine you could connect it to the power line of the ignition system

ground >>>>>> key
power >>>>button>>>>>key

turn the key, nothing happens, turn key + button = power

I mean that's how I wire up most switches for like say LEDs or what not, I don't see why it wouldn't work in this situation, but I've never really messed around with those s2k buttons or the ignitions of an accord.

The theory should work though, if it's a NO (normally open) switch which I presume it is, pushing it would close the circuit allowing the ignition to fire up. I'm not sure how it actually works though, I would take a look at the integra setup and see if it's similar, if your friend has it setup in that manner you shouldn't have too many problems with it

 

you need a relay, just buy a kit off ebay and connect wires, or you will fry up something
