Default Question about my manifold

I am new this site, but I have been looking on here for a while now, and I noticed alot of people giving some helpful info about turbo manifolds. I am making a basic log manifold, but I am to the point where I should put the turbo flange on. Does anyone have any advice on how to mount the flange so that the opening of the manifold matches the hole on the flange. I was thinking of just cutting the manifold and setting the flange down as far as I could, but I am worried about possible restriction. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
