i used to have skunk2's and tokico blues, and it was anything but stiff. did you cut your bumpstops? i have a feeling you are bottoming out
i am slammed on Ground Control and stock shocks (blown) and its not that bad of a ride its a bit bumpy but nothing that i cant handle.

so true...
so true...
Blues are stock replacements...they arent made for lowering.
Even then...Im just going to say it...youre being a sissy (like the girls). Thats ok, youre not used to it.
If you want a ride that is close to stock, get Tein H-tech springs. They ar not low, but they are "soft" as far as drop springs go...
...skunk2's IMO, are bouncy springs anyway

race car? lol what a ricer
race car? lol what a ricer
i got skunk2 coilover on tokico whites and they ride stiff as fuccc....i want to switch to springs, but i want to ride slammed also.
lowering springs are a bitch... never low enough.. but you get a good ride. rite now im ridin on dropzone coilovers.. and these are bouncy 2. all coilovers are bouncy when you go low because the spring has barely any space to travel... so it takes it out on the car and bounces it

it was a joke dumbass. if you knew me or anything about my car you would know im far from a ricer.
anyways,
I have 14k springs in the front and 12k springs in the rear. If you think your car is bouncy let me take you for a ride. A rough suspension can really hurt your daily drivability trust me, but you will get used to it after a while.

I had the 3.5" adjustables from Ground Control on my 98' Ex and loved it, i kept the stock shocks in it. Never had a problem with the ride or complaint from my girl the whole time i had it. I haven't tried any other springs so i couldn't comment for them!

I think it's pobably your bump stops too.. I just bought a civic with Tokico adjustable shocks and coilovers and the thing ran like my tires were made of rock.. but after looking under the car at the shocks noticed that the guy who put them in did not cut down (make smaller) the bumpstops. You'll be amazed at how many people forget to do this.. but you only learn about it after doing it several times..
After I trimmed down the bumpstops, the thing rides near stock and verrry smooth..
Good luck..

Or you can read the directions once and never make the mistake. Whichever you want
To the OP - you've got your shitty EM1 lowered too much on shocks that aren't designed for that kind of abuse. Handling's already out the window if you're that into "slamming" your car, so I would suggest airbags if you want low and squishy.

there is plenty of info out there that suggests skunk2 coilovers = garabge and tokico blue are a stock replacment gas shock.
you should browse the suspension thread. lots of info there
