wings west kit ?
ok...so i have the ww rs kit on my hatch. my ? is this. my friend has it and he has a gap under his headlights. i do too. mine fits really bad near the headlights like the seam is off and doesnt fit the passenger side light. also, under the hood in the front where it bolts near the rad support there is a like 1.5 inch gap between bumper and hood because it isnt back or up all the way. also, the corners dont line up, and under the corner light doesnt either. i was wondering if anyone else's was this bad. ok so here's the deal. i was at a local shop today and a kid had a ww kit on his crx. his part where it bolts up under the hood was cut off and it was a straight line, and he had no bolts on the top, so i dont know how other then on the corners it was secured. he also had no gap under his headlights. i was wondering if anyone can help me out...thanks. ben
i have the kit on my crx.... it fits pretty well now. it was the basic shape when i recieved it, but i spent hours with my dad trimming and junk to make it fit around everything real tight, all the lins to match up, and trimed the hell out of the top center to get it straight with the hood. all i can say is get somebody to help you trim it up really good, or take it to a shop? not many kits fit perfect? they all need preperation and customizing.....with the exception of my boys xenon front end..lucky...
i bought a ww front about a year and a half ago mine has a lil gap but nothin huge.
then i went to buuy the rest of the kit i decided it would be cheaper to buy the whole kit and sell the bumper. i heard that wings west had changed the molds, and i compared my old bumper to the new one and the areas where there are gaps on the old one and it fit differently. the parts i had to shave on my old bumper were already shaved.
i never installed it, i just compared them, and im still tryin to sell the new bumper if anyone wants it

I have a body shop and have dealt with almost every variety of body kit out there. I never put a Wings West Kit on a REX, but I've put them on other Hondas and they fit really well. Wings West is the #2 company out there as far as quality and fit. The only company that is better is Xenon. Xenon kits fit like factory. That's why I have a Xenon on my Rex. These two companies are the only two that I know of that makes their kits out of urethane instead of fiberglass. Urethane is the way to go! A fiberglass kit will make your body guy go
.
.
My body kit is in the spray booth right now and I should have it on my car tomorrow, so after I get it on tomorrow night, I'll shoot some pics and post them. It is a very subtle kit, which is what I want and no F*$kin' speed mesh! If you want aggressive, Xenon isn't the way to go and stick with WW. WW kits are a little more aggressive. Just don't go fiberglass.
