Default harman/kardon drive+play... where to put the controller?

I was just eyeing this... (http://www.crutchfield.com/S-hMvpfEP...=fp&I=108DP1US)

...and was wondering if anyone has it, and where they put the controller? It looks to be the best aftermarket iPod device, without getting a new head-unit, but for the life of me, can't find a good place for the controller. Any ideas?

I bought one, took it to my car outside the store, tried to find a place to put the controller, couldn't come up with anything, and took it back.

Word, it's a great product, but I really cannot find a single place to put the thing. The drink holder cover would be great... if you never had drinks in the car...

Yeah, I checked that out, only heard bad things

...very bad things.

Pioneer (or Alpine maybe?) has an official apple/iPod aftermarket head-unit coming out soon, so I'll be waiting for that.

Putting it in the whip won't be too fun though, haha.

Alpine has HU's with the ipod cables. I just don't want to have my ipod connected to something that will be charging it the whole time. I killed my nano's battery like that.

search on google for blitzsafe products. same as the honda music link but its only $90. The Aux input sound quality sucks.

My nano has been plugged into a headunit like this for MONTHS and i have had no problems. First was an alpine deck with the fullspeed cable and now a pioneer 7800 and it stays charged with no problems.

I have my ipod connected through the aux and I love using it that way. Too bad the ipod isn't hidden away and its sitting out for all to see since I have to use the controls on it.
