what size piping for exhaust?

Default what size piping for exhaust?

ok i am about to put a new exhaust on my crx with stock d series. and i have a magnaflow muffler that i want to put on. i want to know what would be the best size piping for my new exhaust? thanks

stock d series i would but 2" dont need much more... any bigger and you might lose power not enough velosity for the air to travel

if you plan on engine upgrades or a motor swap id do a max of 2.5" exhaust.

cool thanks guys. the car has a 96 d15y7 in it ( was in it when i got it) but i may upgrade to a b series.

if you go b series then i would get 2.5" exhaust...better to buy bigger then smaller cause if you do turbo or a engine with a higher hp output later you wont have to upgrade
