cooling system diagram needed, have a leaking hose
My problem is there is a hose leaking literally split in half going to the block of the engine. I need someone with all data at there house or at home to send me the pics of the entire cooling system diagram for a 1989 honda accord f/i 2.0l sohc pls and ty much!!!!
Replace the hose that split and any others that are swollen, or rotten.
Be sure to refill the coolant and burp the block thru the 12mm bleed screw at the T-stat housing.
I'm fresh out of webspace for uploading files for people.
Get a 'helms' service manual on Ebay cheap.

no its one of the hoses that is like under the trottlebody. It was a bitch to take off seeing as the last person to do it didnt think to face the claps twoards the firewall instead they faced them twoards the bottom of the car where you cant reach them anyway. had to cut the hose then take em off still have yet to go get a new one :D prob will be some outrageous price of 5 to 10 dollars for a 6inch hose o.o
Try hondaautomotiveparts.com for some drawings (I can't get the site to come up right now). Trouble is, those hoses are on a couple different drawings, they're not all together on one. Try these...
Water Pipe / water pump
water hoses
throttlebody

yea the site doesnt work but ima take the pip to a parts store then get it replaced this weekend.... was hoping i didnt start work for atleast another week. btw my car was prob 2 mins from seizing :D so i caught it in the nick of time /gome and also does anyone know where the intake manifold breather goes. i know where it connects to the manifold but cant find anywhere to where it goes. i inspected my automotive teachers car a 1988 honda accord LX-I F/i SOCH 2.0l car and saw that it goes down and couldnt see anything else nor could i feel anything because the intake and a few clamps where in the way and only had like 10 mins to search any help would be awesome :D my auto teacher says its to carry oil so.... im guessing it goes to the block.
You mean the PCV hose? Maybe that has a breather box attached to the back of the block like my '95 GSR had. Many newer Hondas have the PCV valve stuck into a rubber grommet in the valve cover.
The actual breather hose goes from the valve cover over to the intake duct, upstream of the throttle body.
Both of those are crankcase breathers, so they don't really carry oil, just oily air.

so you dont absolutley need them? and the hose i was talking about i pulled off and it had a bit of anti freeze it just came from one side of the block to the other side of it about 2inch to 3 inch rubber pipe that is black and has about.... nvm when i get a chance to get a diagram ill show you but till then or a digital camera i can show you both hose's / pipes. Now is it better to have the AM air intake facing towards the front of the car or twoards the back because the air is alot cooler in the back.

The PCV system keeps the crankcase from being pressurized by blowby.
I don't know '89s well enough to say much based on you taking a picture. Someone else maybe...
IF it has anti-freeze in it, maybe it's not a PCV hose.

Im guessing it is. i made the mistake of saying it was anit freeze because my engine was leaking like all hell and thats the first thing i say broken. Found outs its a 10 dorra hose and replacing it soon. but my auto teacher said it isnt needed that it will blow off by itself but it may smoke a bit. So im going ot leave it off till i find the time to work on my car... new job at KFC takes up my mornings at 8:00am till 4:00 pm :D then im to wiped to do anything so i go to sleep
