If you want to stay under $1200, you can always get the TEIN SS set without the upper mounts.
Could I ask why you want to go with a coilover system instead of a spring/shock combo? If you're not racing and you don't need height adjustment AND you want a comfortable ride, then a good quality spring/shock combo might be better suited to your needs and budget.

I would get the eibach prostreet coilovers: http://www.truehonda.com/inven...d=492.
Dont let the picture fool you, these are full coilovers and made by KW for Eibach. Also comes with a million mile warranty compared to the 1 year warranty Tein, K-sport, d2 give.
Oh yeah eddie at Truehonda has EXCELLENT customer service. I would contact him if he has this in stock though. Good luck.

Dezod.com, then 01-05 civic, then coilovers then hit tein SS, and ur done.

yes, make sure you get the upper pillow mounts for the Teins, otherwise you'll get creaking and popping noises when you turn your steering wheel from side to side.
oh yea, you can also look into getting B&G coilovers. not many places sell them, but they're a very good brand. but i dont think they're as comfortable as the Teins tho...

Seriously, why do you want coilovers? Do you plan to track or autox your car? If not, they are complete overkill.
But If you get them, sell me your shocks.
