Default Starter replacement time?

How long does it take an experienced person to change the starter on a d16z6?

not long yo...if you need to replace yours, just disconnect all the wire going to it and remove the bolts that hold it to the tranny...i'll say about 15 mins...might make life easier by removing your intake so you can get to it at ease....just go do it...

LOL...you're in CA...I'm in Buffalo. Do you have any idea what the weather is like here? Freezing...and even more so when the wind's blowing which is pretty continuous right now. I'm paying to have that **** done. I was just wondering for piece of mind. Hopefully they'll be able to get it done today...once the tow truck gets here.

I was sure it would be a quick job, but that quick, really?

Yep, really that quick. There are two nuts holding on ring terminals, and one wire with a spade connector that you remove. Then one bolt on either side of the starter to remove it. Install is reversed.

If you have it installed depending on how busy places are there going to ask for an hour.

The tow was free (AAA). I'm glad I did take it to the garage because it was exactly the starter. It was the wiring going to the starter.
