Default PWJDM/GReddy Cooling Plate, really works?

well i fell upon a thread created in the Type R section of HT where a member bought a GReddy cooling plate and it seems to lower his temps...

i post this here wondering if this will work with half sized radiators that our civics come with...

lately, my temps have been rising a bit. Not enough to be detrimental to the motor but enough to create some concern on my part. something along the lines of slowly but surely failure...

since this thread, ive been thinking about picking one up. what are your thoughts on it?

if your car is overheating you should fix the problem. honda didnt design a car to overheat. i say its a waste of money.
