greddy turbo kit
yea it's a turbo kit made by greddy
hehe just playing. i dunno about the s2k kit but the prelude kits are really good. they're not gonna make a ton of power like a custom turbo but these kits run pretty damn reliable for aftermarket turbo. one thing that i keep hearing though is that you should get a better tuning device than the little blue box thingy they give you.

Highly doubt the warranty part.... but emissions safe, yes, due to them using internal wastegates.....

it will be out for sale before they get it carb certified. it made 302 crank hp according to greddy. basically sounds like every other greddy kit. low in power, high in reliability.

when done right you can make good power out of a greddy kit...
im sure 350+ can be done with it easy ... granted it has a decent sized turbo with it.. the motor will take the added PSI...

Well, seeing that they use 18g's on 1.8 and 1.6L kits, I'm sure they will use an equally large, or larger turbo on this kit.
And 350hp with an 18g isn't a problem
but you already knew that
so it's not a bad option at all for someone who wants to pass inspection and still have a little more go

At the SEMA show, they were using an external TiAl 38mm wastegate on the kit. I believe that's what's going on the production kits as well. They wouldn't specify on the turbo, though.

No I don't think so, but it'd be a good idea.

Yup, this is true, talked to Greddy in california yesterday. The 302 crank was a misprint by R&D prior to them going to Sema. Those numbers weren't 100% verified at the time. Now they are, it was 302whp with a cheap intake and stock exhaust. They said that the E-Manage Ultimate will be used on the kit due to the DBW and other bullshit, but the kit should hit the streets within the next 4 to 6 weeks.
We'll see. It will be interesting to see the numbers after a good tune and open airways.

All the greddy kits i've seen have been pretty reliable. I'd like to see someone with one and i'm seriously considering it when I get out of the Marine Corp, here in about 4-6 weeks. Which the release of the kit should be about then.
