Default window problem

I got a 99 hatchback dx with manual window the drivers side rolls down really hard. Then when i roll it back up it goes up but doesn't stay in the track. you hold i and it will go in just fine. i feels like it has alot of sloop in the regualtor. I was wondering if any one had this problem.thanks.

So, I can take it to Honda and they will fix it for free is that what your saying? My window is driving me nuts and I can't stand to help guide it up all the time... can't i replace any busings or anything i checked to see if all the bolts and nuts were tight and they all are.

Heres what you can do. I had this problem a couple of times. First you have to take a look at the rubber window guide thing. If it is ripped then you will have to replace them. If not then you just have to adjust the bar that hold the rubber guides as well as window in place. I think its a 10MM nut at the bottom of each stick. Just adjust it till it goes up right. pull bend straighten whatever you have to do. G-luck. This goes for the same thing with power window. Also keep the rubbers lubricated so it has a easy roll up and down. Hope this helped.

you need to replace the rubber guides...and make sure the tracks are bolted in correct...its a PITA to get it right..theres a 10mm bolt holding the tracks in....good luck...ive had to hondas with that problem and it always came back...also get some silicone spray and lube the tracks up every once and while...good luck
