Default P28 on a non vtec?

What problems would I run into if i put my p28 on a non vtec engine?

Other then the wrong type of map and probably not running to great, nothing. Is it chipped?

Will throw a CEL once you've hit 4500 RPM.

Runs fine. Passes smog even.

nah, not yet. im not actually gonna do it jsut wondreing if it would amke a serious difference in anything. tryin to learn.

no sir, the CEL will come on right away because it looks for the vtec plugs, and i highly doubt itll pass smog
