Default Interest in Full-Race Traction bars for 5g accord.

Hello all, I have been away for a while but am by no means new here. I have moved out of Ohio and into Arizona. Some of you may remember the 99" turbo accord project that I was working on a while back that was saddly stolen. Well I'm back. I now owen a 1994 Accord lx 4dr. I'm in the process of making this a street/track (road race) car. There are alot more raceway's out here then there were in Ohio, so this is peaking my interest and I've alway's been a HUGE fan of F1.

So to the point. I stopped by Full-Race the other day to pick up a silicone coupler for an intake I was making. I had inquered about a set of traction bars for the 5g accords, and there was interest. But here is the caught and I need you help. I was told that if I can get 10 people together icluding myself and pre-pay, they WILL make them. I will be leaving my car there to have them mocked up on and built on. So no down time to you. The price will be between $300-$500 for a set. These will be the same desing and set up that the civic and integra's have. I was told that the $500 is on the hight side and prob. not going to be that high. So If we can get 10 people including myself we can get these made. Please let me know and give feed back.

For any money taken I will provide a reciept for payment and a signed legal letter stating that I will not run off with the money. The one's that know me on here can vouch. I'm very dependable and trusting. If you want further proof just call Full-Race yourself and ask if they will make these if there are 10 people to buy in and someone local to drop off a loaner car. Here is there Phone#: 866-fullrace. If you are local to phoenix the # is: 602-437-2101. Thank you.

Any questions please ask. I would like to see these made for out car's.

I'm pretty sure you will find plenty of interest but dont limit yourself to just this site.
Try http://www.gen5alive.com its a site dedicated to 5g accords. Also try
http://www.accordtuner.com. Good luck!!!!!!

also, mckinney raceworks already has out a full jointed radius rod bushing replacement. so the last weak link would just be the stock radius rod itself.
http://mckinneyraceworks.com

just an FYI for ya!

but if you do do this, i'd like to see pics. sounds like a great item to have available.

I would be very interested in the traction bars... is there going to be a more firm price cause I dont want to sound rude but some may not be willing to send you money on a guesstimate.

Thanks for the info on the link. But the full set would still be a much better. As for a firm price I would have to say $400. If its more I can see if I can work with them. But I would say $400 would be the figuare. Can I count you in, or would you want to see some more interest.

I need to know a little more about these traction bars aswell. Will they work with automatics? Whats the driveability loss with a set of these?

Muffinman: They tightn up the whole front end of the car and tie the front suspention together. I makes the car ALOT more stable under braking and cornering. If you have ever hit your brakes hard and felt the front of the car want to dart back and forth it will eliminate this. It will also virtually elimanate wheel hop. If you read the write up on Full-Race's web site for the civic's and teg's it will do the exact same thing.

CrownVicCD6 it cna deff. wait that long. The order won't even get placed till there are 10 people. I will add you to the list. I won't take money till that time either.

Ksucd5: It will work on automatics as well. There is no drivability loss with these. You will notice a stiffer front end and alot better handling and braking, thats about it. Just read up on there web site Geoff has done a great job at describing in detail how they work

I can express a long term interest, but my car is just beginning. It is going to be a few months before I would be ready to commit. My vote for producing this product though

Great question. What would you have in mind? I could as them next time I'm there.

Prodigal Son I will put you down. This will more then likely take a while so there is nothing to worry about. But the soon I can get more people the better.

It definitely sounds interesting and I'd most likely be up for it, but I'd have to be hitting it up in the summer when i've got steady cash flow

Would this fit on a 6th gen? I know ton's of parts are interchangable, but would anybody know if this works for the 6th gen? I need this badly.
