Default Re-tuned the R at Evan's, dyno #'s inside

Well, after a long *** day, I finally got my R re-tuned. Thanks to Jeff, great tuner, great guy!

This is on a bone stock b18c5.

I previously made on what I thought to be 10psi (turns out my boost gauge was inaccurate) was actually 8.5psi I made 278 whp. What's even funnier is that what I thought was my 6 psi, was actually only 3.5psi!!!! and I made 223 whp on 3.5psi!! LOL!

Well anyway, I took a trip down to Evan's Tuning, switched from hondata s200b to neptune, and now I'm at 6psi and 10psi. At any rate, I'm making 260whp on 6psi and 315whp on 10psi. What's funny is that I'm making as much TQ on low-boost as I used to have on my old high boost.

Basically the car hauls *** now, and I can barely control it on high boost. I think I'm just going to not use it at all, lol.

Looks fantastic. You think 10psi is hard? My old R was at 15psi and 34psi.

That's just insane, as it is, on 6psi, 1st and 2nd gear are practically useless... balding Azenis I spose

Yea, I actually remember him telling me he's got another R coming in today. I honestly don't think I'd trust anyone else tuning my R.

Yea great power for the street, once I'm out of 1st

I wish we had someone like Evens or P1 out here in Hawaii. You cannot rely on anyone.

I agree. There is a threshold for a FWD car and I think mid 300whp is enough IMO.

One great thing I love about having my Wife's 06 Si to drive around occasionaly is having the ability to go WOT in all gears on the street and back road twisties.

It's a lot more work to drive in my R than her Si, but that just leaves a fun factor in both cars that neither have.

In the R, I've got tons of power for some 3rd gear Vtac, while the Si is just great for some all out pedal to the medal action in corners.

thats a nice hp to torque ratio.. if you don't already, get some drag radials, there not point of running anything other for that much hp

And I thought soulrider's car was crazy fast when I drove it!

High boost must be like hitting warp factor nine now!!!

do not make me come pimp slap you lol

back on topic, I think youll be ok with Azenis on the street. If you plan to be boosting every chance you get, no street tire or drag radial is going to matter. You will smoke them all. otherwise the Azenis will be ok.

<<drives around on bald drag radials, boosting all day long
