i need some help removing my seat belt.

Default i need some help removing my seat belt.

i got every part of it off excpet the top piece by the window. how do you take that part out? and another thing, when i unscrewed the motor part, the seat belt rolled up and it won't roll back down. how can i fix that?

My imagination sucks today, which seatbelt system are you dealing with? Normal 3 point (pillar mounted), door mounted 3 point, or passive? Pictures don't hurt either.

i dont know about the dismantling part but the belt will come out if it is remounted or held in the correct position b/c the roller mechanism is counter weighted

well it looks like you took the 2 big striker bolts that use the torx bit off on the pillar thats all that should hold that top part on. pull more, eat some wheaties?

But seriously, though. I have thought about doing this in my 90 Si hatch too. Doors are just too damned heavy.

the seatbelt wont roll back until you screw the bolts back on. as for the top part, you might have to maneuver it in an awkward way to get it out.
so you did get the 2 bottom parts loose right?

Did you put harnesses in your car or what? I am looking for alternatives to having the belts in the door.
