Default Exedy Stage 2 (Organic Clutch) & Comptech Flywheel

Good Morning everyone,

I want to start off by thanking all you guys, for your knowlegde. Thats golden! I posted a thread about plugs a week ago. I don't mean to posting lots of thread about simple but in my opinion very important maintainces. My car has reached its 103K now and its showing its toll. I've been reading lots on clutches, for sure I am going to go with a Exedy Stage 2 Clutch, but I'm a little confused on the flywheel. Comptech, Fidanza, and Toda are all I read here. Comptech makes a steel and an aluminum flywheel. Steel being 9lb and aluminum 7lb stated from their website. My car is fairly stock, I do in fact have plans for some moderate upgrades. Should I get the steel due to its strong but longer life span, or the aluminum because its lighter and thats all I can find to be better. Opposed to the obivious (faster revs, smooth shifting, better accel)

Thank you guys

I know somewhere that you can get an Exedy Chromoly flywheel. I believe its around the 9lbs. weight and is only around $200!

PM BlueR for this awesome deal and I don't think you will regret it one bit!

i prefer stock disk, oem bearing and stronger pressure plate. i have about 45k miles on it and it holds just fine at 315whp. i also got aasco 8.8lb flywheel and i wish i never got it.. always have random start problems cause teeth won't line up.. but other than that it works. stock wheel is light enough imo..
