Serious Question! HELP Regarding Shocks (PICS INSIDE)

(mind you - i dont go under my car much)

now that whole piece where the spring and the shock is it can move around freely, i can jiggle it around alot (very loose) and it looks horrible, now its been a long time since i looked there but the other side is alit more tight in place but has little slack aswell...well are my shocks blown? and springs too.....

no and no
the damper looks blown, the bump stop looks like it's been sat on by an elephant and that's what happen when you use pos coilover on oem shocks

the silver part is called the sleeves. they should be snug against the shock absorbers. they are held in by rubber spacers, usually, but what you have are generic coilovers so they might not have them. they can still work on the car but when you hit large bumps on the road, being loose it can shift and change position; just like the upper part of the spring.
i say get some regular lowering spings.
