ODB0 and ODB1?
Hey guys. I'm a complete Honda noob and I got a couple of question.
I got 91 Honda Civic 1.6i-VT (eurospec). It has a B16A engine.
After browsing forums and stores, I noticed people talk about OBD0.
So here are the questions.
Why people convert from OBD0 to OBD1?
Is it easier to tune OBD1 car?
If I'm going to do it, what do I need to convert it to OBD1?
Thanks.

OBD1 is the wiring from 92-95. Yes, it is alot easier to tune, software is free even and it can tune past 8000rpm unlike OBD0.
You would need a conversion kit and an OBD1 ecu that is chipped for tuning. Very good if you build your engine, not worth it if you just have a stock engine with bolt ons. You can also tune your OBD0 ecu aswell.

^ that's a good explaination. I don't think there is any software to do tuning on obo-0 anymore. To convert to obo-1, you need a conversion wire harness, a p28 or comprable ecu to chip, obo1 injectors, obd1 distributor. I think you'll only need 1 o2 sensor near the cat, so you'll need a bung welded on you exhaust
