im going to buy some soon because i trust explicit speed the mounts should be killer they look nice also. there worth for our cars what you rather have stock oem mounts that will break or aftermarket mounts out of steel with performance inserts.

Are you kidding? What if the aftermarket mounts are too thin and crack as you're tightening them down? There are soo many products in the aftermarket that are complete crap and you're just assuming it has to be better than OEM?

He asked for experience, not typical H-T bandwagoners. Kthxbye.

look i know oem mounts are a good bang for the buck compared to aftermarket offerings. but have you even seen how beefy these mounts look compared to stock. i trust espeed he has done so many h-swaps with his mounts and i havent even heard complaints. so i know the d-series mounts will own as well plus i dont know many people who actually make mounts for our cars. im not a fanboy of his products but i do see happy customers with no complaints about his stuff. im not saying oem mounts suck but ask people if they have broken there mounts. just look at the difference in mounts

oh, i know they look decent which was the reason the question was asked. But the question was does anyone have them or know anyone that does, not tell your opinion on their work.

I'm cranky and need sleep.

best bang for buck would be the motor mount inserts from energy suspention... about $40 shipped for all 4 mount inserts

I do have the prothane inserts in my crx and they were a pain in the *** and required probably a couple hours worth of removing the the rubber and it still seems like kind of a half-*** way to get stiff mounts and will never be as good as a real mount. Besides my new sedan project is an auto so I would have to buy and manual rear mount (~40-50 shipped) and the inserts ~40 shipped when I could have the explicit mounts for ~125 more and it would support a honda-oriented business

Dude, you are bashing the other guy for his opinion? Look in the mirror first, you are just as bad if not worse.
