Default About to buy a S2G

Hey, I a new to the Honda scene, coming over from an rx-7. But this Saturday I will be picking up a lightly modded '01 white s2000 with red n black interior. Car has an HKS exhaust, Spoon intake system, a slight lower suspension, sum spoon handling work sway bars and other misc. parts were added. Umm that is all I can think of for right now.

With that said what is next for this car, this Honda-Tech is so big but this section seems to be the smallest .... I know good headers can net some power, with this set up but what type? Jun, Toda? Mugen? Other than that I wanted to know what engine managment system would be acceptable. I am not into getting the aem ems right now, but wanted some tuning ability. Any other recomended mods?

Perhaps the itch to go turbo would bite me, and wanted to know how the bottom end and what not holds up with some boost. Can you run garrett turbo kits on these cars? I used to run a GT35R on an rx-7.... This can be a helpful thread to me and others so please post your oppinions and what not.
P.S. If you know any websites that sell honda parts please post them up! I am having some difficulty finding things to buy for this car. Thank You

Welcome,
I feel compelled to say something. since I too had an rx-7. Check S2ki.com its a much better resource than honda-tech. in stock or near stock the S2k is nothing to brag about, when compared to the Rx-7. However the S2k is about 100x more reliable, and with the help of Boost or gears, the S2k can be a contender.
If your planning on staying NA. i recommend gears, i was running a 4.57 final drive gear. and had no problem beating my friends BPU FD and keeping up with my buddy's Jumbo street port FD, lol.. well at least through 1st-3rd.

i think in stock form the s2000 can contend with a FD... if theyre both stock. :\

anyways, you can run boost on a stock s2000 perfectly fine as long as its tuned correctly, as with alot of other cars. people have been running bolt on turbo kits running 8psi and S/C's all day without having to redo internals.

anything else you need, you can find at s2ki.com.

thanks for the replys, I am now registered at s2ki as well. Yeah as far as matching up against an FD, right now my car budget is not nearly heavy enough to do that, just want some subtle good gaining horsepower mods, I will def. search on the other site. TY
