The reflector housing inside my headlight housing is flaking and i want to repaint/coat it if possible. Im wondering is there any real "chrome" or "mirror" rattle-can paint? i know i have seen metallic paints but they are never truly mirror-like....ideas?

new headlights arent really an option- its not a headlight its an e46 shroud, they are very expensive to replace. the shroud itself is fine just the chrome comes off very easily; it need a new/ nother coat.
Will the above product work? What about powdercoating can you powdercoat plastics or could a specialist recoat them?
thanks

you should have stated that it was a shroud in the first place. and the product you linked does look like what you want. as to the actual quality of it...i dont know

get some 1500-2000 grit sandpaper - wet sand, prime & paint. i bought a small can of chrome paint (duplicolor) at the autoparts store. I am doing the same with my chrysler crossfire shrouds. I will have pics in a few days

I trimmed them to fit TL projectors & they paint/finish is rubbing off in areas
