im trying to track down the door tweeter pods that came on some cars, now i tried looking for them on the OEM honda part stores, but i cant find them.

im also looking for the little tweeter pods that go on the backside of the mirror, again same problem. ive tried different trims and such, but cant find what the part numbers are, or even what trim level they came on.

anybody have any idea on these parts? thanks in advance

thats odd, i have a set of EG door panels, both side have the cutout for it and a mounting screw on the back thats part of the door panel.

i didn't realize it came on the ek's, do you know if it was EK only? or did it in fact come on EG as well.

im sorry to be contradicting my self, but thats about the point im at. i have physical proof they exist, but on the great big world of the internet, i cannot get anything about where/what they came off.

im not sure what to beleave at this point.

are those the same as for the EG though? thats the problem. i see em for EK, has anybody baught these for the EG?

are you talking about the pioneer carrozzeria tweeters for 92-95 civic? and it has a switch on them for high and low sound? and go behind the side mirrors? maybe not...

far as i know honda never made mirror tweeters for 92-95 civics only 96+ civics.

but maybe your talking about the tweeter on the actual door itself?

 

the one that i have doesnt have an sjustment. thats the reason im confused though, i have a set of EG door panels that came with the cutouts for em, and the drivers side one, passenger was missing.

the thing is, the back of the door panel has a molded screw point, which means at leaste from the factory or maybe a dealer, you could get them.

i'll try to take some pics with my cam phone, quality will suck but maybe it will help you guys with what im trying to say.

i remember reading someplace people squeeze the ek tweeters into the egs.. from what ive seen the only stock tweeters in a eg is the ones in the door panel. and of course the rare gathers maplight/tweeter but that of course isnt behind the mirror

im talking about the door panels ones...what model did they come stock on? what years? i cannot find anywhere lol.

 

i believe those came stock on the 92-95 EG EX

 

both the hatch and the 2 door?

 

im guessing 92-95 2 dr coupe,, hatches dont have it inless u do the power window swap and use the coupes door panels with the switches
