im thinking bout getting an itr header w/ the 2.5" outlet and was wondering if i can use this test pipe in my eg hatch w/ a b18c1,so i dont have to hack anything up for the bigger outlet on the itr header?...tell me if this will work or not.

what do you mean why?..does the stock civic cat bolt up to the jdm itr(2.5" outlet) header?..

i know how to read..thank you very much..i just want to know if i can use this test pipe w/ my exhasust in my chasis w/o any modification...thats all..dont want to buy something that doesn't work or have to be modify..

 

When adding a test pipe there is always a little modification. It's called welding or welding on flanges.

nothing aftermarket fits 100% perfect...

 

omni has an adjustable length test pipe for about 100 bucks. comes in 2 and 2.5 flange sizes i believe.

 

any of those ebay ones will work fine just as long as it is a 2.5

or you could goto kteller and get the flang and pipe and weld it up your self your choice but answer to your qustion it will fit fine!
