What is the height difference in the two different models struts, 99-03 Standard TL struts and 99-03 TL Type S? I wanna know if installing the struts from the type s into the standard will lower/provide any benefits.

 

I do not believe that there is a height difference but there is most likely a rate difference..........

 

rate difference meaning what exactly?

 

meaning that the spring rate on the Type-S suspension would probably be a little stiffer than on the standard TL.
