Oil in throttle body/IM?
bought a gsr motor awhile ago and just forgot to ask. not sure if it came out of there or it just got there when ever he sprayed down the motor with water.
edit-just checked and there's only a little bit of oil opening the throttle body.
what would oil in the throttle body or intake manifold mean?

If you look at your intake, it has a tube going from the valve cover to it. Oil might find its way in there and into the intake. I know mine on my B16 has black hunk all over it, and i'll take it off and clean it for sure.
That hose that goes from the valve cover to the intake is like a PCV (positive crankcase ventilation). Honda uses a fixed orfice rather than a valve. This allows unburnt crankcase gases back into the combustion chamber. It is used as an emission control. Oil will build up in the TB but it is normal, cleaning the TB once in awhile is a great idea. Just for a little FYI removing the hose and replacing it with a filter will keep the oil from building up in the TB but it will make your car produce worse emissions. The hydrocarbons and carbonoxides will sky rocket.
