actual block stamp and cast is shared w/ b18c1 GSR . Yes all GSRs and ITRs will have the same P72 blocks. Difference is in the crank/pistons/rods!

when you say crank, do you mean the weight differences, aren't the rods the same? and i know pistons are higher compression... ???

Rods and crankshaft are the same castings, they're just machined differently. Check out your oil pan too, P72 stamped on it.

JDM Integra Type-R pistons (P73-00), are 11:1CR. USDM Integra Type-R pistons (P73-A0) are 10.6:1CR.

They don't have an R symbol on them, they simply have the codes stamped on the dome.

The only difference between Type-R and GSR rods/crankshafts are the Type-R components are machined differently, they're the same castings.

They might (the rods) start from the same casting bu the "R" rods are supposed to be forged and have that R on the beam.
