Hey guys my B16 redlines at 7k with the check engine light on??????Any idea why? Reading code one (oxgyen contents)

 

mine would do the same. it read a code 2 though, i changed the oxygen sensor and everything was alright.

 

When the CEL is on the ecu drops the revlimit. Fix the code and it should be fine.

 

where is the oxgyen sensor located at guys?

 

wow man... you need to get a crx manual and just readdd and readdd and readdd. on the header there are two, that is the thing coming off the head with four tubes ;x

well it doesn't matter if the engine light is on, it is at 7 becuase you v-tech isn't most likely activating. i had the same prob, by v-tech wasn't working, but once i got it to work, it went all the way to 8200 so i would just the plugs going to the v-tech selenoid, but if you v-tech is working and it is till going to 7 grand, do what the engine code is telling you to do. well do that either way
