I got in a accident 2 weeks ago or so in fremont off 680, long story short. Tow guy comes gets his "Hooks" out the one they used to hold down the car when towing, well he used it to hook my wheels! So he could pull the car out cause it was down the hill... not all the way down just half ways. He was unprofessinal and was african american.... not being racis but he kept on calling my CUZ and talked like he was still living his L.A. life, guys is around 30-40. Well that side just took off wheels today to sale and found out.

QUSTION: Do you guys think they well pay for it? Should I hired a Lawyer or its a hassle? I just dont want them doing this to anyone else... I want to put a hole in their pocket... no i dont want all the money I just want it to go to red cross or something just to make them poor and they well know they fucked up!

here are some pictures... happen on driver side and pass side... driver worest... thats when his other tow buddy came and use a sedge hammer to get the hook out, and he had to lift the car up 4-5 times with that life thing on back of his truck... the one they used to just two the ffront wheels of the car.

Wheels are Rota Jmags 16inch, was about to sale them for 450, than found this **** out when taking them off!

some people said they can do what ever the expletive they want when they tow a import. I mean I dont think it was even safe to hook the rims when pulling the car out. Ill call but what if they said your fucked it was involved in a accident and we pulled it out period!

 

what are they laws on tow company when it comes to towing imports that are lower with aftermarket rims? probaby not going get ****

 

Um,well if you got in a wreck and your car was down a hill, chances are your accident is what caused the wheels to get F**ked up. Not the depressed persian tow truck driver.

come on, look at the pictures, how does a accident make holes in your wheels? It would have cracked. but holes? if you look at the spokes by the holes its all dented from pressure of the hook and it pointed towards the hole. It got stock on the driver side with the bigger hole and he had to use a hammer to get his hook out.

 

tell your insurance or call the cops on them

first of all, learn proper english. not like my grammer is perfect, but your grammer sucks. second, call the two truck company and speak to the manager or owner. Considering its been a week already, they might try and blow it off saying they didn't do it. Just see if you can have them pay for two new wheels and remounting and balancing of the tires.

at that moment you should have told him to stop and called another tow service.

try to get a hold of anybody you may know in law enforcement or who is a lawyer and have them write a letter to the tow company.

 

my car got hit by some pos old lady. the car could not drive anymore. i told the cops to please becareful with my car its low.
he tells the tow truck driver.
then i hear crunching sounds and i turn around and saw the wood planks he put carelessly under my car wedged under my lip and tore a chunk off of it.

i told the guy incharge of of the place when i got there he told me well dont crash your car and you wont have a problem. my bro got really heated and wanted to fight him. some fat pos dude that looked like a ******* nerd that never got laid in his life.

but its ok. next time i see him order food at the restraunt i'll tell the cooks to whip up something nice for him

car is not being fix, i only have liability. Looks to be my fault, also update: tow company said I have to drive up there 1 1/2 hr drive to them and make a claim, if they do agrees its their fault I guess they well pay... ill see what happens. Thanks for those that reply.

Yeah, gotta speak up and protect yourself. No one else will. Doesn't your Honda have tow loops underneath the front and rear? He should have hooked onto those, never the wheels.

 

I did, but he said he was called by CHP, so he has to get it out and tow it. I aready had a tow truck company of mine in mind. I do have loops but the front was to low to the dirt to get the loops, but if he just dug up some dirt he could of got access to the loops, but he wanted to do it fast i guess.

 

man that sucks. last night my timing belt tensioner snapped and when they were putting my car on the bed and they got out the hooks i thought of this thread. but he hooked it to my lower lca.

 

yup, thats what others say he should of done or just hooked it on or anything but the wheels.

 

If it did that damage to the wheels getting it out , what damage was done to the suspension? It would seem to me, the force it takes to puncture a wheel would damage other things too.
