Sorry bud this car is going to be way to high for you. I live in Bergen County too but im 31. I know a lot of guys in your age group pay more for there insurance a month than there car payment. (scary)

Best thing to do is to call around for quotes or get them online so you know exactly what you're working with. Word.

progressive works great. a good friend of mine works for them and thye insure the car for the model that it is, and not the trim level. so all civic rates would be the same for you regarless if you had the ex or si. they do they same with the 6 cylinder mustang and the gt, same rate. i don't think this is only in texas but it might be worth checking out.

I'm 19 and pay $315 a month for a 2007 Civic Si.

I owned a 2006 Civic LX before this car and only pay $33 more for the Si a month.

The grandmother is your insurance company....

.....The baby on the lawn.... is you....

I have quite the not-so-good-at-all driving record, and I haven't even hit 25 yet, I'm still under 100/month.

Don't forget that he lives in NJ. My fiance is from there and I'm pretty sure that they are one of the highest insurance rated states. They may even be the highest. Her brother pays around $500 for an IS 300. There's no way around high insurance in Jersey.

Army, but I can understand the theft causing insurance rates to sky rocket.

Just save the money, pay the cops better and you could get results..
That's not the right way to fix the problem.. raising the ******* rates?
