Default will this work?.......

I just found an h22 motor, longblock. missing is the tranny. I own a 93 honda accord wagon, i think it has the f22 in it. But the motor is done for, 280k miles on it and it has served me well. So now the question is, will the tranny from the F22 stock auto tranny, fit on the h22 longblock?..............any help would be apreciated thanks.

yes your motor is f22

the thing is if you are going for the performance gain with the h22 the extra long gear auto tranny will probably kill it, if you do it for replacement reason, get a f22 instead. that why it will not be a waste of money and gas.

i see. Because my F22 is gone, and the h22 sounds nice. I dont mind about the performance gearing, i heard the stock auto tranny from the f22 will be better if i wasnt looking for performance......

yeah, but just make double sure the ecu off the prelude will work with your slush box. since one is tiptronic and the other is not.

really tho, unless you can get a long block for cheap cheap, it's going to make no sense to make all this happen(when you don't really care about the 4-50hp gain)

good luck and i agree bush =
