1992 integra muffler question
I've got a 92 teg with a custom exhaust system on it. Car is turbocharged with 3" piping, a hi flow cat and NO resonator. Its loud at all times, high and low rpms. Can anyone suggest something that i could get to fit on this car since not many company's make one for it. My aim is quieter without much HP loss
Adding a resonator would be a good start.
Two main types Look iside to tell the difference:
one with scallops on the inside that protrude out (spiral shape usually) and grab the air.
The other with drilled holes only and a smoother looking flow.
The second one looses less power and would be the one to choose. May be tougher to find in three inch though.

On the contrary, the turbo quiets exhaust noise quite a bit.
You don't mention what kind of muffler you're currently running, but if you pair a Magnaflow muffler (chambered would reduce noise more, at the expense of some flow) with a large resonator, you should have a decent reduction in volume. Keep in mind though that you'll be running a 3" performance system, so it's never going to sound like a stock setup.

The only route I can see for what you want is to get a resonator welded into your current exhaust.
